Postnatal Care: Taking Time For Yourself and Baby
After your baby is born, we offer you the choice of returning for a “Mum and Bub” check with our midwife. This appointment can be made for 7-10 days after your discharge from the hospital. At this visit, we are able to discuss feeding and baby care issues alleviating any concerns you may have transitioning to parenthood. Providing this service has proven to be of great benefit to our patients.
With a new baby, it’s easy to get caught up in the busyness of motherhood. But taking time to look after your own health is imperative. This appointment is an important opportunity to discuss your own physical and emotional well-being after the birth of your baby.
